"My kids really liked this place. It has a fun drive in feel with picnic benches out front. The burgers were made with real meat (not that fake patty style) and were very reasonably priced at $3.25. They come with lettuce, tomato and onion as standard. I ordered onion rings which were $3 for 5. This seemed a little steep compared to the burger, but they were delicious and made with real onions. We also had the chocolate dipped cones, which were amazing! The lady who served us was so friendly and the food was quick but clearly cooked to order. We were actually visiting to occupy the kids while our car was fixed at Allen's Garage just up the road, but it was a gem of a find!"

"Been to Powell's a few times. Overall it ain't bad...the other reviews are right about the waitresses, shakes, etc. It's a good place. There are only two problems: 1. Because you're outside, the weather has a big influence on what kind of time you'll have there. When it's too hot or cold, you won't want to sit at the picnic-style tables even though they're shaded. Pity the waitresses walking to & fro with food. 2. Right next door is a thrift store. Apparently it's run by a local church...on certain afternoons they ruin the dining experience with the sermon in their back lot--which is attached to Powell's parking lot. If you are there, you'll be unable to avoid hearing an incoherent, tent revival-style tirade about "JEEEZUS KRAAST"....really kills the vibe. Again, pity the poor waitresses subjected to that sonic assault."
